Aero disc brake wheels have shaken up the cycling world, but Rondo goes not one, but two steps further. The HVRT is the world's first road-ready variable geometry road bike that is first and foremost a pure road bike. Don't let the additional features throw you off track. No compromises were made in this area. It is responsive and aggressive. However, RONDO has incorporated some unique solutions that will make this bike your best everyday companion. First, the HVRT offers the ability to use large volume 700c-Gummis rubber or even mount massive Road Plus tires on 650b-Reifen tires, ultimately turning the HVRT into a Road Plus pothole killer. Secondly, thanks to the unique twintip fork, you can change your riding position and adjust the steering character of the bike. The first setting with steeper angles, smaller caster and a lower front end will be the choice for racing. The alternative setting of the fork, suitable for large tires and / or mudguards, with slightly flatter angles is ideal for hard, long endurance rides.
So imagine the following situation: You regularly ride fast group rides and races on the weekends, but you want to avoid traffic as part of your training and explore some B-roads on your summer vacation. The only bike RONDO can think of that can do both is the HVRT. All you need are two sets of wheels. Your set for race day could be high-profile, aerodynamic and chic. Your second set can be a cheap 650B-Setup setup with 1.9" road tires. The difference that makes is huge! We're not talking about the niceties of typical "endurance" road bikes like a slightly lower bottom bracket or a slightly more compliant frame. We're talking about a black and white transformation that's all about whether it works or not.
RONDO doesn't like to brag, but they have to say it now - the first all-around road bike has just arrived and it's called the HVRT.
