Description
The RAMP'AIR Air Chamber represents a major evolution in air suspension systems for MTB forks. This clever dual-chamber device incorporates a floating piston that complements the main chamber, delivering a more linear, more sensitive and perfectly controlled response throughout the entire travel.
The principle is based on targeted interaction between the two positive chambers starting from mid-stroke. This approach corrects the natural shortcoming of air, which behaves in an exponential way and often deprives conventional forks of sufficient mid-stroke support. Thanks to this system, the fork gains stability without requiring excessive compression damping.
The result is a linear and controlled spring curve: optimal small-bump sensitivity at the start of travel, enhanced mid-stroke support, and controlled progression at the end of travel, preventing any harsh bottom-out on hard impacts. The pressures of both chambers are adjusted independently, allowing fine-tuning to suit riding style and terrain.
Manufactured from premium CNC-machined aluminium, the chamber is engineered in Europe and assembled in Austria. It requires minimal maintenance and is fully reversible to install, requiring no permanent modification to the original fork.
