Description
The Wahoo KICKR V6 with Zwift Cog & Click represents the pinnacle of indoor training technology. This ultimate version of Wahoo’s flagship turbo trainer combines the precision, power and premium connectivity of the KICKR V6 with the simplicity of the Zwift Cog (a universal single sprocket for 8- to 12-speed bikes) and the Zwift Click virtual gear-shifting controller.
Designed for the most demanding cyclists and triathletes, it features KICKR AXIS feet that allow lateral movement to reproduce the bike’s natural sway and reduce fatigue. With ±1% power measurement accuracy, a maximum resistance of 2,200 watts, a Direct Connect Ethernet port and automatic calibration, it delivers an ultra-realistic, quiet and completely seamless training experience on Zwift.
What is the difference between the KICKR CORE 2 Zwift Cog and this KICKR V6 Zwift Cog? The KICKR V6 is Wahoo’s premium model. Compared with the KICKR CORE 2, the V6 offers greater accuracy (±1% vs ±2%), higher resistance (2,200 W vs 1,800 W), gradient simulation up to 20%, integrated KICKR AXIS movement feet, a heavier flywheel for a more realistic pedalling feel, a carry handle and an Ethernet port for virtual racing.
Does virtual gear shifting work with apps other than Zwift? No. The 24 virtual gears controlled by Zwift Click are exclusive to the Zwift app. On other platforms (Rouvy, TrainerRoad, Kinomap), you can use the KICKR V6 in ERG mode (resistance automatically adjusts to the target wattage), or remove the Zwift Cog and fit a traditional cassette.
What is the Ethernet Direct Connect port on the KICKR V6 for? The Direct Connect port lets you connect the turbo trainer directly to your internet router or computer using a network cable. This eliminates the risk of Wi-Fi signal loss or Bluetooth interference, a crucial advantage in e-cycling competitions or official Zwift races.
Could the KICKR AXIS feet damage my bike’s frame? Quite the opposite. The AXIS feet move with your body’s natural motion and reduce mechanical stress on the bike frame at the rear axle, while also reducing muscle fatigue around the pelvis.
