Description
The CANE CREEK Hellbender NEO bottom bracket is the American brand’s answer to the harshest conditions. Where a conventional bearing eventually lets in water and mud, the NEO uses SKF MTRX technology: the balls are embedded in an oil-filled solid polymer matrix that fills all the free space inside the bearing.
This matrix continuously releases lubricant through its microporous structure as you pedal, while physically preventing water and particles from reaching the bearing races. The result: a bottom bracket that takes rainy mountain bike rides, cyclo-cross, muddy gravel and high-pressure washing in its stride.
Cups machined from 6061 T6 aluminium with a two-tone black and gold anodised finish. Press-fit BB30 installation for cranksets with a 30 mm spindle (RaceFace/Easton Cinch, Rotor 3D+, e*thirteen P3 Connect, Cane Creek eeWings). Designed and assembled in Fletcher, North Carolina (USA).
