Description
The CASTELLI COLD DAYS 2ND LAYER long-sleeved base layer is an insulating mid-layer for rides in extreme cold, on the road or on gravel. It is worn between a technical base layer and a winter jacket.
It is made from Polartec® Alpha® 90, a lofty active insulation made from recycled PET. This soft, stretchy fabric provides lightweight warmth and maximum breathability; paired with a breathable base layer, it wicks away moisture and reduces clamminess.
The slightly offset, half-length asymmetric zip avoids stacking multiple fastenings at the neck. The close-fitting layer can be worn tucked into tights or over them.

Measure your chest at its widest point, passing the tape measure under your arms and keeping it level.
Measure your natural waist, holding the tape measure level and slightly loose.
If your measurements fall between two sizes, we suggest choosing the larger size for a better fit.
