Description

The DYNAMIC LYTE 400 front light is a compact, ultra-light light weighing just 89 grams, designed to provide optimal visibility for everyday riding while keeping your cockpit uncluttered. Its high-quality LED delivers up to 400 lumens across five lighting modes, suited to commuting and well-lit roads alike.

Thanks to OPT™ Lens and OPT™ Beam optics, the beam is focused on the road with a 200-metre range, without unnecessary light spill or dazzling oncoming road users. The aluminium housing features effective thermal management, while its IPX6 water-resistance rating means it withstands heavy rain.

Its 1600 mAh battery, rechargeable via USB-C, offers up to 24 hours of runtime and has a charge level indicator. The 2-way mount lets you fit it above or below the handlebar, while the included GoPro adapter allows fitting beneath a bike computer.

Frequently asked questions

Is this 400-lumen light powerful enough to ride through a forest or along a trail in complete darkness?

The Dynamic Lyte 400 is ideal for town riding, cycle paths and moderately lit country roads. For riding in complete darkness or demanding mountain biking or gravel riding at night, it is better to choose a more powerful model such as the Dynamic Lyte 800 or Lyte 1200.

Is the mount easy to fit and remove?

Yes, the high-strength silicone strap mount lets you fit or remove the light in seconds without any tools. This is ideal for taking the light off when you lock your bike up in town.

Can it be used in heavy rain?

Absolutely. With an IPX5rating, it is fully sealed against water ingress from driving rain and spray from the front wheel.

Does the light warn you when the battery is nearly empty?

Yes. The control button has an LED charge indicator that turns red when less than 20% battery life remains, giving you time to plan a recharge.
