Description

The DYNAMIC LYTE 800 front light combines power with low weight: delivering 800 lumens while weighing just 119 grams, it is the lightest light in its category. Its high-quality LED offers five lighting modes to suit any situation, with excellent visibility and a clear view of the road or trail.

The OPT™ Lens and OPT™ Beam optics focus the beam over more than 200 metres, limiting light spill without dazzling oncoming road users. The aluminium housing features integrated thermal management, and the IPX6 water-resistance rating means you can use it confidently in the rain.

Its 2500 mAh battery, rechargeable via USB-C, provides up to 24 hours of runtime, with an automatic power-saving mode below 10% charge. The 2-way mount lets you fit it above or below the handlebar, while the included GoPro adapter allows fitting beneath a bike computer. Ideal for rides in low-light conditions.

Frequently asked questions

What is the main difference between the Lyte 800 and the Lyte 1200?

The Lyte 800 provides 800 lumens and a 2,600 mAh battery in a lighter package (~135 g), ideal for road riding, smooth gravel and unlit urban routes. The Lyte 1200 offers more power (1,200 lm), a 4,000 mAh battery and an additional power bank function to charge your smartphone or bike computer.

Can I mount the Lyte 800 upside down beneath a GPS bike computer?

Yes, that’s one of this model’s main advantages. The supplied GoPro-style adapter lets you attach it beneath most out-front bike computer mounts (Garmin, Wahoo, Bryton), freeing up handlebar space.

How long does it take to fully charge the light?

Thanks to its USB-C port and fast-charging capability, the 2,600 mAh battery charges fully in around 2 hours 30 minutes to 3 hours when connected to a standard power source (5 V / 2 A).

Is it suitable for night-time mountain bike training?

For mountain biking on tracks or smooth trails, 800 lumens is more than adequate. For demanding singletrack or fast technical descents, we recommend choosing the Lyte 1200 or pairing the Lyte 800 with a helmet light.
