Description

The EXPOSURE LIGHTS REVO 5 DYNAMO front light is a 2000-lumen dynamo-powered light that combines continuous charging from a dynamo hub with an internal 1600 mAh battery that can be pre-charged via USB-C. It delivers full power from the first pedal stroke, even at low speeds.

It offers two programmes: ‘Light Priority’ for constant output regardless of speed, and ‘Infinite Runtime’, which uses only dynamo power for unlimited runtime and lets you charge a phone or GPS while riding. Its 12° spot beam reaches more than 50 m.

CNC-machined from anodised 6063 aluminium, it is rated IP68 and IK09 and weighs less than 150 g. A dedicated USB-C port powers the EXPOSURE RedEye 3 rear light. Made in the UK.

Which dynamo hubs is it compatible with?

With all AC dynamo hubs. A 1.2 m connection cable is included.

What’s the difference between the two modes?

« Light Priority » delivers constant power regardless of speed, thanks to the battery. « Infinite Runtime » uses only power from the dynamo: output varies with speed, but runtime is unlimited and the USB-C port can charge a device.

Can it be recharged and connected to a rear light?

Yes: the 1600 mAh battery recharges in around 1.5 hours via USB-C, and the dynamo also charges it while you ride. A second USB-C port powers the rear light EXPOSURE RedEye 3, which switches on automatically with the front light.
