Description

The challenge was to create a brake with power and the right feel. Hayes achieved it by developing an entirely new system. The master cylinder of the Hayes Dominion A2 brake is factory-set for the shortest possible free stroke and a distinct bite point.

The Dominion A2 brake caliper uses two pistons in a design engineered for maximum stiffness. It features a cold-forged caliper and a KingPin pad-retaining bolt that increases stiffness. With a motorsport-inspired dual-port bleed system, DOT 5.1 fluid and a Kevlar hose, the hydraulic system is designed for optimal performance at any temperature and easy, effective maintenance.
