Designed for their first off-road adventures, the Mavic Junior Explorer children’s helmet is easy to adjust and comfortable, and helps keep your children safer on their bikes, whether on trails, at the bike park or on family rides.
Its ErgoHold adjustment system provides a precise fit to keep the helmet securely in place. The Lockstrap straps can be adjusted and then locked: once you’ve found the right fit, it stays the same from one ride to the next, leaving your child free to enjoy the ride.
Like all Mavic helmets, it is certified to the European EN 1078 standard.
How do I adjust my child’s helmet correctly?
The helmet should sit level, about two finger-widths above the eyebrows. Tighten the ErgoHold dial until the helmet no longer moves when your child shakes their head, then adjust the straps to form a V under the ears and lock them using the Lockstrap system.
Is the Junior Explorer suitable for mountain biking?
Yes, it was designed for children’s first off-road rides and is equally suitable for rides on roads or cycle paths.
