Description
The MICROSHIFT SWORD BLACK FD-G7920 front derailleur completes the SWORD BLACK 9-speed double-chainring gravel drivetrain. Its aluminium outer cage plate delivers a clean shift onto the outer chainring, at a weight of just 110 g.
Check before ordering: it is designed for a wide 47 mm chainline, as used by the SWORD BLACK 46/29 and 48/31 double cranksets. It is not suitable for road cranksets with a standard chainline. Full-length cable housing makes tension adjustment easier and helps keep dirt out.
Braze-on or clamp? Both versions are available: FD-G7920-F with a braze-on fitting and FD-G7920-B with a 34.9 mm clamp, supplied with 31.8 and 28.6 mm reducing shims.
Which chainrings does it accept? A 46–52-tooth outer chainring (46 minimum), with a maximum difference of 17 teeth between the two chainrings.
