Description

The PROTAPER D-Vice Direct Mount stem 31.8 mm 40–45 mm is a direct-mount downhill stem designed for riders who demand maximum stiffness. Machined from6061 aluminium, it is the result of extensive development by ProTaper’s research and development department.

Stress analysis software made it possible to remove excess material without compromising stiffness, and the final version was validated by World Cup athletes. Its fully connected lower plate and lattice upper plate create a stiffer, stronger connection to the Manitou Dorado.

Supplied with 10 mm vertical spacers, it makes it easy to adjust the cockpit to suit each rider. Its 31.8 mm clamp diameter, its A2 stainless steel Torx bolts and its black finish complement any downhill cockpit, with a claimed weight of 165.8 g.
