Description

The PROTAPER J-Unit 680 black/stealth handlebar, Rise 1 was designed using NASA anthropometric data on average hand size for children aged 6 to 10. ProTaper first determined the ideal grip diameter, around 22 mm, then used this to determine the diameter of the handlebar ends: 15.5 mm.

Made from 7050 aluminium, it measures 680 mm wide with a 25.4 mm rise, 7° backsweep and 5° upsweep. Its standard 31.8 mm clamp diameter fits standard stems, and its integrated bar-end plugs enhance safety.

Cut marks let you adjust the width to suit the child's build. This handlebar is used only with ProTaper J-Unit grips, sold separately.
