Description
The RITCHEY RL1 SWITCH Stem combines Ritchey’s renowned 4-bolt handlebar clamp—stiff, practical and reliable—with the Switch System’s integrated cable routing. It is made from 6061 alloy using 3D Net Shape forging, which aligns the metal grain with the shape of the part for greater structural strength.
Up to three cables (rear brake, derailleur, electronic shifting or dropper seatpost) can be routed to the frame using the Switch spacers and headset (sold separately), for a clean-looking cockpit. The RL1 range is aimed at riders looking to upgrade their bike or build a new one at an accessible price.
With a 31.8 mm clamp diameter, a 1"1/8 steerer clamp, a -6° angle and a claimed weight of 200 g at 100 mm, it suits road and gravel builds.
