ROCKSHOX 0W-30 Suspension Oil (1 L)

RockShox 0W-30 is a synthetic oil for lubricating the lower legs of RockShox forks. Poured in small amounts into the bottom of the lower legs, it helps the bushings slide over the stanchions, protects the seals and improves fork sensitivity. It is recommended for Pike, Lyrik B1 and Yari forks, among others.

Formulated and tested by RockShox, it ensures full compatibility with the brand’s seals. RockShox recommends using only its own fluids: unsuitable oils can cause premature wear, swelling or shrinkage of the seals, and reduced performance.

The 1-litre bottle is designed for workshops and riders who regularly service their suspension.

How does it differ from Maxima Plush Dynamic Light? From the 2023 models onwards, RockShox has used Maxima Plush Dynamic Light in its fork lower legs as standard. The two products are compatible: Plush Dynamic Light can replace 0W-30, while 0W-30 remains suitable for forks that specify it.

Can I use standard 0W-30 engine oil? RockShox advises against it. Only RockShox oils are tested for compatibility with its fork seals.

Can it be used in the damper cartridge? No, it is for lubricating the lower legs. The cartridge must be filled with the damping oil specified in the manual.

How much should I use? Volumes depend on the model and year: consult the RockShox specifications chart (oil, air, spring and tokens) on the SRAM service website.
