Top-notch
"The product meets my expectations; the gears shift smoothly."
Yeah, right. . . . . . .
"Not bad, but nothing special. The trigger is stiff on the index finger—it’s a shame there aren’t more mounting brackets, or at least some part numbers so I could order more. Otherwise, it gets the job done."

"I bought this to replace my original Six; I already had one on my previous mountain bike, and I'm very happy with it—it's very responsive and looks great (in my opinion)—the best. . . . ."
The best from SHIMANO
"smooth gear shifts, ability to downshift two gears"
very disappointed
"I have three other XTR groupsets on older bikes, and they're a real joy to use—precise and smooth. These XTR 11-speed shifters are still precise but very unpleasant, especially when shifting down; it takes a lot of effort with the index finger to operate the downshift lever. I contacted the technicians at Probikeshop, thinking there was a defect with this shifter, but they confirmed that on this 11-speed model, it’s normal to no longer have that smooth shifting feel. . ."
