Description
The sleeveless CASTELLI COLD DAYS 2ND LAYER base layer is an insulating mid-layer for rides in very cold weather, whether on the road or gravel. It is worn between a technical base layer and a winter jacket.
It is made from Polartec® Alpha® 90, a lofted active insulation made from recycled PET. This soft, stretchy fabric provides lightweight warmth and maximum breathability; paired with a breathable base layer, it wicks away moisture and reduces clamminess.
The slightly offset, half-length asymmetric zip avoids stacking multiple zips at the neck. The close fit can be worn tucked into your tights or over them.

Measure your chest at its widest point, passing the tape measure under your arms and keeping it level.
Measure your natural waist, holding the tape measure level and slightly loose.
If your measurements fall between two sizes, we suggest choosing the larger size for a better fit.
