The TOPEAK Upgrade Kit SmartHead DX Upgrade Kit is the ultimate renovation kit for floor pumps. Its fully metal SmartHead DX head is a little engineering marvel: it automatically detects whether you are connecting it to a Presta or Schrader valve. No more need to flip internal seals or choose the right hole — the head adjusts itself instantly.

The aluminium locking lever, particularly long and ergonomic, provides exceptional clamping power to guarantee a perfect seal, even at very high pressure (up to 200 psi). It is the choice of mechanics who demand speed and reliability with every inflation.

What is the difference with the "TwinHead" model? The TwinHead has two separate outlets (one on each side), whereas the SmartHead DX has only one single hole that "reads" the inserted valve. The DX version is also more premium with its fully metal finish.

Does installation require special tools? In general, a simple pair of pliers or a flat spanner is sufficient to remove your old hose and screw the Topeak adapter onto the body of your pump.
