Building on the 303 S, it incorporates next-generation aerodynamics from the S Collection, which spans road, gravel and XC. This evolution aims to improve overall efficiency and ride feel on the road. It reflects a commitment to continuous improvement and high-performance road innovation.
Its 50 mm rim profile, inspired by the Firecrest design, optimises aerodynamics and stability in crosswinds. It delivers a saving of around 2 watts compared with the 303 S and remains competitive with much more expensive wheels. This design also improves handling on descents and when accelerating on the road.
Equipped with 20 front and 24 rear Sapim CX-Sprint spokes in a two-cross pattern and Zipp 76/176 hubs offering 36 points of engagement, it provides stiffness and responsiveness.
These hubs use contact seals on the outside of the bearings, where they are exposed to the elements, and non-contact seals on the inside to reduce friction. The hookless TSS tubeless construction and weight of around 1,545 g provide versatility and performance. It suits riders seeking performance, reliability and efficiency on long road rides.
