"I'm just getting into carbon wheels. The difference compared to aluminum—on the open road and on flat terrain—is astounding. But you have to keep the beast fed. Above 30 km/h, the performance is spectacular. On the other hand, on climbs, the difference is far less noticeable."

"Vision wheels are always a solid choice, but beware! In this case, the ad appears to be for the latest generation of SC 40 wheels (clearly recognizable by the distinctive 'marble' brake track). ) However, what actually arrives at your doorstep is a pair of first-generation SC 40 wheels (2016–2017) with smooth brake tracks (which perform poorly under high heat) and obsolete hubs. I was surprised and disappointed when I opened the box, especially since the ad shows a picture of the wheel with the modern brake tracks. So beware. The price is low, but you’re getting an obsolete wheelset for that money. But if that doesn’t bother you, it’s a great deal. Needless to say, I sent them back the next day. It would be fair, though, if information like the year and generation of the build were included. At least that way, their intentions would be transparent instead of shady."
