"Easy to assemble and durable"
"No problem—the sides are clearly marked, as are the screw directions. I installed two on a mountain bike tandem; I just had to reverse the bearings on the front bottom bracket, which was easy to do. The result is perfect."
"Exactly the product I wanted and was offered. Very satisfied."
"I'm really happy—a smooth ride like this is starting to be a rarity."
"Replacing the same bottom bracket to avoid having to replace the crankset, which is in perfect condition. The bottom bracket is fragile (less than 2,000 km); be sure to clean the bearings to prevent premature wear."
"A compatible and necessary bottom bracket for a SRAM crankset, but more fragile than a Shimano one."
"I wanted to replace the 3-ring drivetrain on a Specialized Source with a simpler single-ring setup, so I opted for an SRAM Apex, to be mounted with a GXP bottom bracket. To do this, I removed the original square-axle bearing. Clearly, the GXP is a wear-and-tear part, but it saves weight. As many others have noted, rattling noises appeared immediately, despite applying plenty of grease during installation. But it works. To be continued. . ."
"I'm completely satisfied with this bottom bracket paired with a SRAM FORCE 22 crankset. My only concern is with the spacers. Given the width of my bottom bracket (68 mm) and the width of the crankset, no spacer allowed me to secure the bearings while maintaining smooth operation. I reused the wave washer from my old SRAM RED 22 crankset, which, in theory, the crankset from moving side to side (the steel thickness must be around 0.7 mm, whereas a 1.25 mm spacer would have locked up the crankset). So it spins without a single sound."
"Good value for money and a safe bet when replacing an identical model."
"A high-quality case that's perfect for my regular use"
