De SHIMANO 10V E6090 ketting is een krachtig en duurzaam model, ontwikkeld voor de Shimano Steps motorseries.

Het E-BIKE ontwerp is specifiek bedoeld voor 10-versnellings- en single-chainring transmissies; deze ketting is duidelijk bedoeld voor gebruik op een elektrische fiets.

"Installed on a bike equipped with a 500W Bafang motor and a gear shift sensor, with a (46/11-42) gear ratio; so far, the chain is holding up well after 1,500 km. No noticeable wear on the drivetrain. The adjustment is quite fiddly to achieve silence across the entire cassette range; I can’t say for sure if it’s just the chain and/or the cassette that’s the issue. It’s really not cheap, so the true verdict will come with time. I’ll come back to add a comment once I’ve finished using it. Note that it doesn’t come with a quick-link but with a pin."
