De home trainer TACX Neo 2T Smart T2875 is een model dat zowel krachtig als stil is. Hij is bestemd voor wedstrijdrijders die op zoek zijn naar een echte assistent voor hun trainingen. Met zijn verbonden functies biedt hij een meeslepende ervaring en nauwkeurige analyses om efficiënt vooruitgang te boeken.
Het systeem is niet gebaseerd op een fysieke overdracht maar op een directe aandrijving. Zo is de wegsimulatie zeer realistisch en is krachtsverlies uitgesloten. De krachtige motor kan een maximale weerstand van 2.200 W uitoefenen en een helling tot 25% realistisch simuleren. Hij verzorgt ook het trainen in afdaling. Dit creëert een uiterst realistische rijervaring, zelfs tijdens beklimmingen. De nieuwe motor van de Neo 2T zorgt voor hogere weerstandsniveaus bij beklimmingen, sprints of lage snelheid.
Het ontbreken van een fysieke overdracht zorgt er ook voor dat de trainer uiterst stil is. Geen enkel onderdeel produceert geluid of wrijving. Hij beschikt ook over de Plug in/Plug out-technologie, waarmee je hem met of zonder stekker kunt gebruiken.
Wanneer de NEO Smart 2 niet gekoppeld is aan een smartphone, tablet of computer, gedraagt hij zich als een progressieve home trainer: hoe hoger je snelheid, hoe groter de weerstand. Het is dus heel goed mogelijk om deze home trainer in "stand-alone" modus te gebruiken.
De nieuwe achteras maakt hem compatibel met alle fietsen. Voor assen van 135 x 10 en 135 x 12 is wel een adapter nodig.

Out of order after 3 months and Probkeshop non-professional after-sales service
"I bought this so-called top of the range HT at the end of October 2022, it broke down on 15/02/2023. As indicated in other comments, it overheated and its charger went into safety mode, as the HT was over-consuming. I contacted the after-sales service on February 16, and since then I've had no news despite reminders by phone and e-mail. I find this treatment by Probikeshop unprofessional and deplorable for a new product at over €1000."

"I bought this item 2 years ago. Now, in the middle of training, it feels hot and no more resistance. The equipment no longer connects via bluetooth and is out of order. After reading the networks and forums, it appears that this is a generic design problem: the internal cooling is undersized. Waiting for after-sales service after the warranty. . For equipment costing over €1,300, reliability isn't up to scratch."
very disappointed with probikeshop
"i bought a tacx smartflux2 for christmas on the phone recommendation of a probikeshop advisor. My express request was to be able to drive the trainer with my Garmin Edge 1030 GPS, on which I have many recorded routes. probikeshop recommended tacx, saying that it was a Garmin brand and that it would work well. When it didn't work, I called probikeshop. A consultant told me he didn't know what to do, that he'd look into it and get back to me. That was 2 weeks ago, and of course I didn't hear anything back from probikeshop. I took out a 10-euro monthly subscription to the tacx desktop application, which didn't improve anything. I've got other problems with this trainer: loss of Bluetooth connection in the middle of a workout, which means I have to start the whole course again, which is nice when you're in the middle of a virtual ascent of a mountain pass. No transmission of data from my Garmin heart rate monitor to the tacx desktop app. All this is very disappointing and I hope for an appropriate and professional response from probikeshop".
