Dit lichtgewicht model in aluminium, de remhendel MAGURA HC MT5, is ontwikkeld met de ervaring van ster Danny MacAskill en de HC-technologie (Hard Core), die een steeds veiliger en comfortabeler remgevoel biedt. Het heeft een éénvinger-ergonomie en een afgeronde lijn die vingerletsel voorkomt. De speling is instelbaar met een Torx T25-sleutel, zodat iedereen hem naar eigen voorkeur kan afstellen.

"Designed for one-finger braking, these levers look promising. However, the ergonomics could be slightly improved for a bit more comfort when operating them. I haven’t had any crashes yet, so I can’t speak to their durability. In any case, switching from two-finger to one-finger operation is definitely a good option, and installation is easy to do yourself—no special tools required. I’m satisfied with them."

On the other hand, as with many brands... no instructions. Probike, if you could pass this message on to your brands: It’s a shame to design beautiful products that we sometimes end up damaging during installation just because there aren’t simple instructions... A minor downside: it’s hard to avoid a very slight amount of lateral play in the lever due to the mechanism lacking a threaded axle (just a retaining rod)."
