Als opvolgers van de BR-6800, nemen de voor- en achterremklauw SHIMANO Ultegra BR-8000 het Dual-pivot-ontwerp over, het SLR-EV-systeem en de dubbele lagers die de pivotswrijving verminderen, wat zorgt voor uitzonderlijke efficiëntie en controle, met krachtige remkracht en extreme precisie.

Met een zeer gestroomlijnd design en compacte armen bieden de BR-R8000 meer speling, waardoor ze compatibel zijn met bredere banden zoals de 28C.
