De SHIMANO RT-MT900 remschijf is de meest efficiënte schijf die het Japanse merk ooit heeft geproduceerd voor warmtebeheer, dankzij slimme koelvinnen verspreid over de volledige schijf.
Aanvankelijk alleen compatibel met de XTR 9100-groep, voor Cross-Country of Enduro gebruik, zorgen de drielaagse constructie (roestvrij staal/aluminium/roestvrij staal) en het koelsysteem ontwikkeld door SHIMANO ervoor dat de temperatuur met ongeveer 20°C daalt ten opzichte van remschijven van oudere generaties, terwijl ze tegelijkertijd krachtiger remmen en de levensduur van de remblokjes verlengen.

However, the spacers provided aren’t compatible with my XTR cassette; I had to keep the original spacer from my Scott, which was previously equipped with XT 8000 discs. Given the price, both types of spacers could have been included. Best regards"

"Very effective. You don't really notice a difference when braking from a cold start, but during an enduro race, the disc doesn't get very hot, which helps maintain very effective braking performance! The weight-to-strength ratio is great too. The discs match the description perfectly and meet my expectations very well (strength, durability, aesthetics). Excellent product!"
