"Avoid at all costs!!!!! 5 rides, the last one in wet conditions. Seized bearings. Had to take it apart and soak it in a bath of anti-seize compound, but the races and balls are rusted. Only recommended for riders who only ride on dry terrain."

Delicate assembly

"This is a delicate installation that should only be done with a press; you must take great care to center the plastic spacer with the frame and the left bearing, or you risk damaging it. It’s surprising to see the bearing’s design—the pedal axle fits into a plastic bushing that’s held within the bearing. So you have to be careful during assembly. In my opinion, this is the bearing’s weak point."
