Met een klittenbandsluiting kan het gereedschap op de vork of het zadelpennastel van elke fiets worden gemonteerd.
De voeler wordt vervolgens op de normale manier gebruikt, zoals op elke andere wielcentreerstandaard. Het gereedschap is ook geschikt voor het rechtzetten van schijven.
