"RAS is a perfect fit for a size 9 plate and is easy to install without tools"

Roland57 (5/5)

Practical component

"Works great with a non-SRAM chain. Handy to keep in your saddle bag..."

Transalp (4/5)

A bit pricey, but useful and sturdy

"Nothing broke, and it makes it easier to maintain your bike!"

Perchman (5/5)

SRAM quality - rugged

"It's a reliable quick-release clip—it's not the clip that breaks, but the chain first ;) Always keep one in your backpack, just in case."

Xtophe08 (5/5)

SRAM 9V Quick Release

"Excellent value for money. Very quick and easy to assemble."

Gonza12 (5/5)

Convenient for setting up and taking down my system

"Compatible with my new Shimano chain. Makes it easy to install and remove the chain."

I break quite a few links... but not those ones

"The kids, work... I don't ride much. But when I find a spare moment, I go for it. No time to pamper the bike. We'll deal with that later. Of course, a link breaks every now and then ;-) I have four on my chain: the original and three replacements (all installed in a few minutes during rides). This time I’m replacing my 13-year-old chain, but I can assure you that the quick-links are the only links that don’t snap."

Kro-C (5/5)

Functional but fragile.

"I completely agree with the other reviews—this product is easy to install and easy to remove. However, I have my doubts about its durability and lifespan. I bought it just six months ago, and it’s already broken. One of the two plates has cracked, causing the chain to come loose. Given that I use it once, or occasionally twice, a week, I’m surprised by how short the lifespan of this quick-release is. Other models are much more durable."

Nad91 (2/5)

Easy to use and convenient

"The first time I used it, well... I had a hard time. . . I took it apart and put it back together. Actually, you really need to make sure you have a hook to hold the links and loosen the chain at the attachment point (a piece of wire hooked on both ends works just fine). There’s a small plier for taking the link apart and putting it back together. With that, it’s perfect. Given that, I ordered another pair to keep one in my bag, because when you’re out riding, it… comes in super handy… when the chain breaks! Have you tried it yet? Mounted on a Sram chain. In fact, my first Attacheneatit came with my new chain. That’s how I discovered this clever fastener."
