Dæk CONTINENTAL GRAND PRIX 5000 700c TubeType Souple er efterfølgeren til den meget anerkendte Grand Prix 4000S II. Det tyske mærke har designet et produkt, der kan bruges både til træning og konkurrence samt på tør eller våd vej.

Sammensat af tre lag er Grand Prix 5000 designet til at forene ydeevne, greb og modstandsdygtighed uden at glemme komforten. For en exceptionel vejfasthed er dækket udformet med Lazer Grip-teknologien. Dette sæt af små strukturer på siden af dækket giver maksimalt greb selv ved hæld på våd vej. For optimal ydeevne har Continental videreudviklet sin Black Chili-teknologi. 

Hvad angår komfort og modstandsdygtighed bruger GP 5000 Active Comfort, der absorberer vibrationer, og Vectran Breaker, som er fremstillet med syntetiske fibre, der gør dit dæk meget modstandsdygtigt over for punkteringer med kontrolleret vægt.

"First order placed. I never received the article after 2 weeks they sent me back the product I asked for a commercial gesture. They refunded my shipping costs of €3.99. "Worse and worse, supposedly one of the best tires, they wear out at an insane rate and are not all that resistant to flint. Disappointed, the GP 4000s seemed more resistant to me."
