XTR with minimal supplies?
"As expected, there was no TL-FC24 adapter for installation... Nor was there a paper manual: just a QR code that simply redirects you to the Shimano website (which is handy when you have a smartphone and your hands are covered in grease). The bottom bracket shell is too narrow for my crankset (TRUVATIV FIREX 3.3 GXP crankset): according to the SM-BB93 manual, there are spacers to adjust the width, but the part numbers are unknown and therefore cannot be ordered (they could have been included with the bottom bracket!!). Luckily, I have a 3D printer! In short, I still get the strong impression that Shimano is cutting corners on every penny in this bottom bracket package—and too bad for customer satisfaction!"

"I installed it this weekend; it seems to be good quality—at any rate, it's lightweight. However, it’s really a shame that Probikeshop doesn’t mention that this model needs to be installed with the TL-FC24 adapter in addition to the Shimano TL-FC36 wrench, because the diameter of the clamp ring on this model is smaller than on other Shimano models.
