"Great products with replacement gaskets, but I think they're missing the adapters."
"Good shock. Lives up to expectations. I've been riding full-suspension bikes since 1994, so I know the brand well. Neutral seating position—it's definitely practical on a custom XC prototype. If your mountain bike doesn't have this brand, or if it has Fox, Bos, or Dvo, don't hesitate. It will change how your bike handles. No need for a lockout—with good sag, all you have to do is play with the rebound. The more you slow it down, the firmer the compression becomes."
"I was disappointed when I received it because there were no instructions; I don't even know if the shock absorber was 'inflated' from the factory or not. I still don’t know the maximum pressure—I think it’s 275 psi (is that written on it??). When I used it, it felt good on the first ride, although after 53 km the indicator ring was all the way down, so it wasn’t inflated enough at all."
"You can buy it and try it out at Xtera France in Xonrupt"
"Installing the bushings with the tool I bought for the job went perfectly. The shock absorber adjustments were simple and effective. However, there was oil seepage right from the first ride, and it’s still happening now on the third ride. Is this normal?"
"I bought this to replace a Monarch 3.1. It was easy to install. The included pump is handy. On the two rides I've taken since then, I've found the comfort of a good shock absorber. Note that RockShox has discontinued the floating valve system (which had shortened the lifespan of my previous Monarch 3.1)."
"I'm happy with my purchase, but the instructions for selecting and installing the spacers aren't clear enough, even though there are Probike tutorials available. Why not include links to them? Otherwise, as always, the delivery, price, and product were all great."
"I bought this product and installed it on my GIANT XTC NRS; it works great. My old SID was on its last legs, and since parts aren't available anymore, now it's back in action. This SHOCK is very effective, and locking a shock on a mountain bike is just plain stupid. You might as well ride a hardtail!"
