The home trainer TACX Neo 2T Smart T2875 on samalla sekä tehokas että hiljainen malli. Se on suunnattu kilpailijoille, jotka etsivät todellista apuvälinettä harjoitteluunsa. Yhdistettyjen toimintojensa ansiosta se tarjoaa mukaansatempaavan kokemuksen sekä tarkat analyysit tehokkaaseen kehittymiseen.
Järjestelmä ei perustu fyysiseen voimansiirtoon vaan suoravetoharjoitteluun. Näin ollen tien simulointi on hyvin todenmukainen eikä voimahäviötä esiinny. Tehokas moottori voi tuottaa enintään 2 200 W:n vastuksen ja simuloida realistisesti jopa 25 %:n nousukulman. Se simuloi myös alamäkiajoa. Tämä luo erittäin realistisen ajotunteen jopa nousuissa. Neo 2T:n uusi moottori mahdollistaa korkeammat vastustasot nousuissa, sprinteissä tai alhaisella nopeudella.
Fyysisen voimansiirron puuttuminen tekee trainerista myös erittäin hiljaisen. Mikään osa ei tuota ääntä eikä hankaa. Kuten muutkin Smart trainer -laitteet, Neo 2T Smart -malli kommunikoi ANT+-, FE-C- ja Bluetooth-yhteyksien kautta, joten voit helposti ja nopeasti yhdistää sen Tacxin sovelluksiin ja lukea suorituskykyyn liittyviä tietojasi useilla eri laitteilla samanaikaisesti (älypuhelin, pyörätietokone, urheilukello). Se hyödyntää myös Plug in/Plug out -teknologiaa, jonka ansiosta sitä voi käyttää sekä pistorasialla että ilman.
Kun NEO Smart 2 ei ole yhdistettynä älypuhelimeen, tablettiin tai tietokoneeseen, se toimii progressiivisena home trainerina: mitä suurempi nopeutesi on, sitä enemmän vastusta syntyy. On siis täysin mahdollista käyttää tätä home traineria itsenäisessä "stand-alone"-tilassa.
Uusi takapyörän akseli tekee siitä yhteensopivan kaikkien pyörien kanssa. Ainoastaan 135 x 10 ja 135 x 12 -akseleille tarvitaan adapteri.

Out of order after 3 months and Probkeshop non-professional after-sales service
"I bought this so-called top of the range HT at the end of October 2022, it broke down on 15/02/2023. As indicated in other comments, it overheated and its charger went into safety mode, as the HT was over-consuming. I contacted the after-sales service on February 16, and since then I've had no news despite reminders by phone and e-mail. I find this treatment by Probikeshop unprofessional and deplorable for a new product at over €1000."

"I bought this item 2 years ago. Now, in the middle of training, it feels hot and no more resistance. The equipment no longer connects via bluetooth and is out of order. After reading the networks and forums, it appears that this is a generic design problem: the internal cooling is undersized. Waiting for after-sales service after the warranty. . For equipment costing over €1,300, reliability isn't up to scratch."
very disappointed with probikeshop
"i bought a tacx smartflux2 for christmas on the phone recommendation of a probikeshop advisor. My express request was to be able to drive the trainer with my Garmin Edge 1030 GPS, on which I have many recorded routes. probikeshop recommended tacx, saying that it was a Garmin brand and that it would work well. When it didn't work, I called probikeshop. A consultant told me he didn't know what to do, that he'd look into it and get back to me. That was 2 weeks ago, and of course I didn't hear anything back from probikeshop. I took out a 10-euro monthly subscription to the tacx desktop application, which didn't improve anything. I've got other problems with this trainer: loss of Bluetooth connection in the middle of a workout, which means I have to start the whole course again, which is nice when you're in the middle of a virtual ascent of a mountain pass. No transmission of data from my Garmin heart rate monitor to the tacx desktop app. All this is very disappointing and I hope for an appropriate and professional response from probikeshop".
