"I've been using these pads for several years. They came standard on my XTR (M985 Trail). After previously using various disc brakes, I discovered the joy of using XTR brakes equipped with J04C pads: powerful, responsive, durable, quiet, truly all-terrain... no more anxiety when changing pads (unwanted friction during the first few rides with new pads... having to release the brakes on descents and terrible acceleration). In short, I must be on at least my 6th set... and what’s more... they wear down very slowly (metal pads). I highly recommend them!!"
