"I bought this headset to replace the original one on my 2010 Scrapper 8. I chose the Ritchey brand because I'd heard about their reputation and I'd already had them on my old road bike, so I wasn't disappointed at all. It lived up to my expectations! The old one came off almost too easily because of its poor quality, whereas the Ritchey has a lower tolerance and therefore stays in place much better. On the other hand, I had a bit of trouble fitting it, but that's my fault - I don't have the tools for it. Once in place, adjusting the fork clearance is a breeze. The assembly is very well finished, and the Ritchey markings are appreciable, although the screw imprint is a little too fragile for my taste, which explains my 4-star rating for the finish. It's now been installed for 1 year and there are no problems to report, it's still as fluid as it was originally."
