V této nové verzi Python 29x2,25 kombinuje boční bloky omezené výšky rozdělené do tří samostatných částí pro zajištění optimálního gripu v zatáčkách, centrální řetěz hrotů nabízející maximální rychlost na suchém terénu při zachování trvalého kontaktu se zemí, a mezi nimi obrácené hroty "pistol" pro razantní a výrazné brzdění.
V kombinaci s novou trojitou gumou RaceRipost XC a textilní výztuží HardSkin z vysoce odolného nylonu umístěnou pod běhounem a na bocích, aby se zabránilo proříznutí ostrými kameny, vykazuje tento model vynikající výkon jak z hlediska výkonnosti, tak i životnosti.

A super rear tire for dry-weather XC
"After a year's use on asphalt (going to work) and gravel/woodland surfaces, I'm very satisfied: very good grip, top performance (from my point of view) and very good resistance to hardskin punctures (I'm talking about city runs with nails, bits of glass, etc.). ). I've only had one puncture in a year, and given the nail, no tire could have withstood it. What's more (even if it doesn't add anything to the effort), it looks great and the design of the studs gives it real style. I bought several in advance without hesitation, having already tested schwalbe racing ralph (too fragile) and Michelin wild race'r, which were very good but wore out too quickly for my taste. A little plus for me: it's a French company! :-)"
