Always satisfied with Selle SMP saddles
"We own several saddles from this manufacturer. After various trials and tribulations, SMP brought us what my wife and I were looking for: a bike with no problems in the saddle. I bought this Well model, which I intended to replace a Drakon model on my road bike. After more than ten years of use, the leather had worn off in places and was beginning to play an abrasive role on my cycling shorts. I took advantage of a promotion at Probikeshop to order a Well model. No longer leather, but synthetic, with a much more modest price than the Drakon; but for the rest, it's pretty much the same shape and dimensions. The Well is a little softer, with a more grippy synthetic covering than leather. This takes some getting used to, especially when you return to the seat after a "dancing" sequence. If you don't fall back into place, it's hard to slide in. You have to lift yourself up a bit. As for the rest, it's fine. Let's see how it ages!
