"A good kit—comprehensive enough and well-made. I do regret, however, that it doesn’t last more than three years. I’m replacing it because the last one wasn’t sliding smoothly anymore (the housing and cable were kinked near the shifter after a fall), but mainly because the coating on the cable has worn away along its entire length."
