"The derailleur works great with the dedicated handle (it has the pull of an 11-speed derailleur, so not compatible with other 10-speed shifters). Compared to a 105 5700, I find it much more precise. On the other hand, the cable at the derailleur output is well bent when you're on the bottom of the cassette, which leads to rapid wear. A shame."

Works perfectly, but beware of compatibility
"Warning. This groupset is only compatible with itself I ordered this derailleur after switching to flat bar. The bike is equipped with tiagra 4600. I got a complete flat bar with tiagra 4700 shifters and brake levers for a good price. Of course I tried, but the original tiagra 4600 rear derailleur couldn't work with the tiagra 4700 shifter. Indeed, it's the 10v group where the indexing is 1.7mm instead of 1.4mm. For the chainrings (here triple), it still works with the 4600 front derailleur and the 4700 triple shifter. So I installed this Tiagra 4700 rear derailleur and it works perfectly with its 4700 shifter!

"Warning On the Probikeshop page it says - ""Total capacity: 39 teeth (double) / 41 teeth (triple)"", On shimano site: RD-4700-GS: Low sprocket_Max. 34T (Front double), 32T (Front triple) Cassette 10V SHIMANO TIAGRA 4700 - 11/34 -> 34 < 41 so I said to myself OK but I confirm with triple chainring at the front, the 34 sprocket "passes" but the guide roller touches slightly and the tensioner roller is just right. Clearly, a chainring larger than 34 won't go through. ... See with use if the speed jumps and wear increases. What does the "41 teeth" mean? It's not the maximum number of teeth, so I don't know exactly what it means? Is it really relevant or is it misleading? Cdlt MH"
