Shimano 105 handle caps

"Ordered to replace the original Shimano 105 cocottes which were getting sticky but unfortunately, the internal stops and hooks didn't match. There was an offset on the top. After enquiring at a TREK bike store, it turns out that there are several models depending on the year of manufacture So return the product."

unpleasant surprise... my fault

"i thought the 105 5700 cocottes were the same as the 5600 . . big mistake on my part. they can be mounted, yes . . but they don't fit the shape of the much thinner shifter . . so they're unpleasant and unstable to use. This does not call into question the quality of the Shimano product."
