A very good tire, even

"A very good tire, even if the mounting and centering was a nightmare (I use it with an inner tube). Really not easy. But once in place and after a dry road / trail test, the tire has excellent grip. You're very comfortable taking corners at full speed. I'd recommend it."

Excellent all-round performance

"Excellent on any terrain"

Impeccable

"Nickel tire grips well a little fragile on the sidewalls"

outdoor testing of a swiss army knife

"I've been riding Hutchinson tires for a while now. By the way, a French brand, which is no small detail. Tested a Gila 2. 25 tubeless ready flexible bead in rear position. Mounting is a bit tricky, but you don't do that every day. A small can of preventive later and we're off into the woods. Like many people, I'm lucky enough to live at the foot of the Pyrenees, with its varied terrain. And that's where the GILA comes into its own. On technical but not extreme terrain, with or without relief and with or without grip. It's not great, but it gets the job done, and above all, it'll never let you down. Aided by its cousin, the TORO 2. 35 hard skin front. In my opinion, it's the Swiss Army knife of my mountain bike.

Feel safe with this tire

"I bought 4 of them, on one of them there were small holes from the first inflation. Maybe it's because I inflated it above 3 bar the first time to put on the preventive afterwards. I would have given it 5 stars otherwise."

Excellent technical front end

"Front-mounted for technical, rocky all-mountain trails. Don't hesitate to ride with low pressures (1.5 bar), to take advantage of its grip and comfort. No punctures in 1 year and hard-to-detect wear. Easy to fit and remove, no tools required."

top top top

"This tire is great! Without a doubt the best all-round tire I've ever tested! For an unbeatable price. Super grip and very good performance despite its profile and width (here in 2. 25). No need to send the watts, hyper rolling. Doesn't wear out too quickly.

Very good tire, big

"Very good tire, big brake in front mount, precise in trajectory and very reassuring. Glad to see it just came out in 2.10!!!"
